I love coming here for their ice ube latte with coconut cold foam. It has become a favorite of mine. The owner is so sweet and very passionate about her craft and her shop. Sometimes they offer bakery sweets if it hasn’t sold out yet and those are always really good.

I moved the Fayetteville not long ago and have been on the hunt for a great coffee experience. I walked in to Vagabond today with my husband and my 2 year old and the staff were so nice. I heard the owner training a new employee and they were dialing in the espresso so I asked for a double shot. It was So smooth. Perfect blend of bitter/sweet. I also got a drip coffee. The beans are great. The drip is smooth and tastes delicious. Did not need cream or sweetener at all. There is a seating area behind the bar with nice couches. The music is played at a very reasonable volume, very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. I highly recommend Vagabond Cafe and will definitely be back.

Best coffee in Fayetteville, without a doubt. I’ve been following Vagabond since they were just a coffee truck, through now to them growing and being downtown as a shop. The craftsmanship and quality of the coffee is second to none. I can always tell that effort goes into creating the recipes and drinks, and that’s not something I can say for a lot of places I’ve visited. While there are drinks I’ve liked more than others, I’ve never had anything bad here. High quality coffee and great people. The vibe is amazing as well for those who want somewhere to sit and chill while they enjoy their beverage.

Top notch coffee shop. Got the churro latte iced and it was phenomenal. They had almond or oat milk for anyone with milk allergies. Definitely reccomend stopping in Also they had a plant cutting library where you can bring in plant cuttings to leave and take one and I love that!

I’ve been coming to Vagabond pretty regularly since it first opened off Hay St. a few years ago. Fridays are usually my go-to days and I’ve never had a bad drink or service! Today the owner forgot my order in the morning rush and after I noticed a couple groups that came in after me get their drinks, I went up to make sure I didn’t miss them. She quickly realized and admitted to accidentally skipping over it and immediately offered a refund for the inconvenience because I was patiently waiting and she wanted me to come back again (like I would ever NOT??) Thanks for your passion of making amazing coffee and always great, friendly service. I’ll definitely be back :)

I tried Rude Awakening coffee shop before coming here, which was a mistake, & am very glad I gave my morning coffee another try at Vagabond. This place was truly a hidden gem, & the coffee was pure art. While pricy for their sizes, the product itself was extremely worth the cost. I would go here every single day if it was close by my house. I felt genuine *peace* sitting in this cafe, & that is nowadays a rare thing. The flavored syrups? Handmade & dated to preserve freshness. The matcha? Whisked by hand with a bamboo whisk, not poured from a jug as a syrupy concentrate. The espresso shots? Pulled carefully & precisely with calibrated equipment. I chose one of their seasonal specials, a Banana Foster Latte (iced), & I sincerely would chug that stuff if I could. They made their own caramelized banana milk for the latte & that toasty caramelized banana flavor truly shined in a way that was creamy & sweet but not overpowering. I also got a plain espresso shot on the side for an extra jolt (didn't want to disrupt the latte's flavor balance) & the barista was nice enough to recalibrate the espresso machine & pull another espresso shot for me when the first one came out not quite right. The place is tiny, but incredibly cozy & not at all cramped. There's a sitting area to decompress & sort of 'hide' behind the counter you order at, check it out down the hall. There's no bathroom, so keep that in mind, but with only one very pleasant employee behind the bar it was a very comfy safe-feeling place to sit down & have a craft coffee. I would genuinely recommend this place to anyone. The owner is clearly not just a barista; they're an artist.
